About Me

Hi there! My name is Samantha and I live with my husband and daughter in Oklahoma. We enjoy Starbucks, going for walks and eating breakfast together. If we could, we'd move to the mountains in a heartbeat. 

I'm currently a stay at home mom while I finish my degree in elementary education. I have spent the better part of 10 years in early childhood between early learning centers and kid's church. 

My goal for this blog is to help other stay at home moms feel accomplished with their days by encouraging independent play with their children. In my home I try to implement Montessori practices in our daily lives, but I don't follow it exactly. Many of the toys and activities you will see are Montessori inspired. I feel that Montessori practices are great ways to teach children independence while also being (somewhat) helpful.
