How to Set Up an at Home Toddler Library
If you are anything like me you have an abundance of board books, right? If that is overwhelming to you, here's a secret... you don't have to put all the books out at once.
Part of our bedtime routine is reading two books. We trade these out weekly with the books on my daughter's bedroom shelves. We keep six books on the shelves at a time. Three books. Two shelves.
The shelves we use are from IKEA. They are actually spice racks but are the perfect size for keeping a few board books on. We put the shelves low down so that she can reach and have access to them whenever she wants.
I also like to double the library as a cozy spot. I add stuffed animals, blankets, and pillows to make it a soft and inviting area.
What do you like to add to your reading area? Let me know in the comments and be sure to follow me on instagram @savingsahm to see our reading area being used in action!
I'm so glad you're here!
